It is situated on an area of 40 acres, adjacent to National Highway No.5, featuring 31,000 sq. ft of built-up space for the institute and hostel. Additionally, it boasts a 4.7 km state-of-the-art driving training track.
Operations began in April 2013 and are managed by M/s Ashok Leyland Ltd. through the society titled “Society for Govt. of Odisha – Ashok Leyland HMV Drivers Training Institute”, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
